Sakadikium™ is a powerful natural ingredient, bioinspired from the organic rhizomes of wild butterfly ginger.
The wild butterfly ginger, also called "Sakarivodambo" in Madagascar, belongs to the ginger family and produces white flowers with a butterfly shape. Buds and rhizomes are used to flavor soups and dishes. The rhizomes are used by local communities to protect from the sun harmful effects and calm burned and irritated skin. Thanks to their sugar richness, the rhizomes are a source of bioinspiration by playing a key role in the plant adaptation to its environment: resistance to water stress / resistance to heat / resistance to environmental hazards.
Seppic drew its inspiration from the heart of this malgasy's flora, harvested responsibly and sustainably, selecting the organic rhizomes of wild butterfly ginger.
