Key Ingredients

SEPIMAX ZEN™ stabilizes and thickens the emulsion. (Polyacrylate Crosspolymer-6) Pre-neutralized powder polymeric thickener with a MAXIMUM resistance to electrolytes thanks to its high associative behavior. Efficient on a wide range of pH from 3 to 8, it is able to formulate transparent aqueous gels. It also provides oil stabilizing effect and particle suspension properties. It imparts a rich, velvet and elegant skin feel.

MONTANOV™ 202 (Arachidyl Alcohol and Behenyl Alcohol and Arachidyl Glucoside) is a glucolipid emulsifier of plant origin made in France. Liquid crystal promoter, it allows to create very stable biomimetic textures, providing long-lasting hydration and an immediate restructuring effect for a smoother skin texture. COSMOS

SOLAGUM™ AX (Acacia Senegal Gum and Xanthan Gum) is a smart combination of natural thickening polymers. It also displays emulsifying properties that allow to stabilize up to 15% of oils. EMOGREEN™ HP40 gives unctuosity, powdery finish and let a film at the surface of the skin. (C15-19 Alkane and Hydrogenated Polyfarnesene (Plant-based & Renewable) a non polar and inherently biodegradable, bio-sourced emollient. It’s a sustainable alternative to heavy silicones in formulation. This high purity versatile texturing ingredient brings comfort to the hair and the skin. Multifaceted ingredient, it provides film forming properties with a soft and supple afterfeel.

FORMULATION ADVICES:

Laboratory scale - 300 g

Combine phase B and mix at 60rpm with U-shape blade for 15 minutes. Combine phase C and mix well. Increase phase B mixing speed to 160-170rpm and very slowly add phase C to phase B. Once the addition of phase C is done, reduce mixing speed to 100rpm and mix for 15 minutes. Very slowly add phase A to phase BC and mix for 15 minutes. Transfer batch to a deflocculator and turn it on to create a nice vortex and add phase D one by one. Continue to mix until Simulgel NS is completely swelled. Check and adjust to pH 6.
