(C15-19 Alkane (Plant-based & Renewable)): EMOGREEN™ L19 emollient: essential for the emolliency, with a soft gliding skin feel. A non polar and biodegradable, bio-sourced alkanes with a fresh and gliding touch, soft afterfeel and restructuring very dry skin.
(Methylpropanediol): DUB DIOL* humectant: essential for the high skin moisturization effect from the water phase. A multifunctional glycol providing moisturization while maintaining a high level of hydration while being less tacky than glycerin (Methylpropanediol)
(Ethylhexyl polyhydroxystearate): DUB ESTOLINE®* emollient: essential for the skin for comfort and protection against dehydration thanks to the film forming effect. A comforting and protecting ester with a surprising honey-like yet non-sticky texture
(Hydroxyethyl Acrylate/Sodium Acryloyldimethyl Taurate Copolymer): Association of two complementary EO-free powder polymers for the perfect texture and skin feel: essential for the thickening and stabilizing effect of the oil phase without the need for an emulsifier. SEPINOV™ WEO thickens. stabilizes high oil content, resist to electrolytes and gives a satiny & light skin feel SEPIMAX™ C demonstrates an extreme resistance to electrolytes. It offers a rich, velvety and elegant skin feel to formulations.
(Phenoxyethanol): SEPICIDE™ LD preservative: essential to protect the formula and the consumer against microbial growth. Preservative agent with a good activity against gram-negative micro-organisms at 0.5%, particularly Pseudomonas Aeruginosa, and against Gram + and yeast at 1%.

FORMULATION ADVICES:

Laboratory scale - 300g - Defloculator

Combine phase A ingredients and mix well. Combine phase B ingredients, mix well and then disperse phase C into phase B. Add phase BC to phase A under mixing with a deflocculator. Continue to mix until a smooth emulsion is formed. Check and adjust pH to between 5.5-6.5.
