FORMULATION ADVICES

Laboratory scale - 300g

Combine phase A and mix well and then add phase B and mix until a nice uniform gel is formed. Heat phase AB to 75°C. Combine phase C and heat to 75°C while gently agitated. Stop all mixing and pour phase C on top of phase AB. Start mixing using sweeper blade at 100 - 135 rpm for 10 minutes while maintaining temperature at 75°C and then homogenize the batch for 4 minutes at 4,000 rpm. After homogenization, cool down with sweeper to 50°C and add phase D. Continue to mix to ambient temperature.
