Key Ingredients

Creating melting textures with a fresh skin feel SIMULGEL™ I-NS 100 (Hydroxyethyl Acrylate / Sodium Acryloyldimethyl Taurate Copolymer and Isohexadecane and Polysorbate 60) Pre-neutralized liquid polymeric thickener on a wide range of pH (3 to 12). It provides also excellent oil stabilizing effect. Versatile and efficient, SIMULGEL™ I-NS 100 is used to develop from sprayable, extra-liquid to very thick formulas.

MONTANOV™ 82 (Cetearyl Alcohol and Coco-Glucoside) Glucolipid emulsifier derived from vegetable origin made in France. It is especially well-suited for formulations with a high concentration of active ingredients. In combination with the other grades of the MONTANOV™ range, it can be used to modulate the texture and flexibility of the emulsions as desired.

EMOGREEN™ L19 (C15-19 Alkane (Plant-based & Renewable)) Gives a fresh and gliding touch, with a soft afterfeel. A non polar and biodegradable, bio-sourced emollient. It’s THE alternative to silicone oils. This high purity vegetable alkane is conformed to Cosmos and Natrue.

SEPIMAT™ HB-V (Methyl Methacrylate Crosspolymer) Ultra-soft hollow and ultra light microspheres that impart a “powdery” effect. This versatile, both hydro and lipo dispersible.

Protecting the skin from the loss of elasticity, one of the primary causes of enlarged pores with age CERAMOSIDES™ HP (Glycosphingolipids & Glycolipids) The essence of perfect skin. An original combination (patented) of natural CERAMIDES and OMEGAs. After 28 days of application, the complexion is fresher, the pores are visibly smaller.

With a unique feel: easily spreadable, non greasy and non sticky, with nourishing properties! PHYTOWAX® OLIVE 18L57** (Hydrogenated Olive Oil Stearyl Esters) a natural wax from olives. Melting point is 55-60 °C allows stabilization of the anhydrous product. Great alternative to synthetic waxes, it increases the consistency and creaminess of the formula.

FORMULATION ADVICES:

Laboratory scale - 300g - Overhead mixer

Disperse Sepimat HB-V into Emogreen L19 while mixing and then combine the rest of ingredients in phase A and heat to 75-80℃. Cooldown the batch to 65℃ and add phase B. At 60-55℃, add phase C and mix well. Pour at 55℃.
