Key Ingredients

Respecting the structure of skin and providing abundant, light and soft foam, ORAMIX™ L30 (Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate) is a mild alternative to LESNa in sulfate free formulations. Offers higher foaming properties than LESNa.

PROTEOL™ OAT PF (Sodium Lauroyl Oat Amino Acids) it offers an unctuous, abundant foam without any drying effect. It is a gentle anionic surfactant inspired by the aminogram characteristic of oat. Thanks to its high tolerance and its excellent foaming power, Proteol OAT PF™ is suitable for a lot of applications.

Pre-neutralized powder polymeric thickener with a MAXIMUM resistance to electrolytes! SEPIMAX™ ZEN (Polyacrylate Crosspolymer-6) provides a dense and creamy foam. It is able to formulate transparent aqueous gels and particle suspension. In foaming formulas, SEPIMAX™ ZEN helps to obtain denser and more creamy foams.

LIPACIDE™ C8G (Capryloyl Glycine) a glycine biovector and skin acidifying agent, it protects the skin and helps maintain its ecosystem. It also protects cosmetic products by increasing the microbiological stability of formulas with a low preservative content.

AQUAXYL™ (Xylitylglucoside and Anhydroxylitol and Xylitol) moisturizes and restructures the skin while improving foam quality. This natural plant sugars complex boosts water reserves, water circulation in all skin layers and reduces water loss. It improves the foam quality and reduces irritation induced by some surfactants (LESNa...).

A great boost of hydration! DUB DIOL* (Methylpropanediol) This multifunctional glycol provides moisturization, maintains high level of hydration while being less tacky than glycerin. Odorless, colorless and hydrophilic, helping solubilizing and enhancing fragrances and preservatives power: it is ideal for clear formulas

FORMULATION ADVICES:

Laboratory scale - 200 g

Combine A and heat to 50-55C while agitating with magnetic bar. Check and adjust pH to 4.5 - 5.0. Turn off heat, and add phase B and mix well. Transfer the batch to deflocculator and add phase C into the vortex while mixing. Once Sepimax Zen is completely swelled, transfer batch to U-shape mixer and add phase D and E. Check and adjust the batch to pH 4.5 - 5.0.
