Key Ingredients
MONTANOV™ 82 (Cetearyl Alcohol and Coco-Glucoside) Glucolipid emulsifier derived from vegetable origin. MONTANOV™ 82 is especially well suited for formulations with a high concentration of active ingredients. In combination with the other grades of the MONTANOV™ range, it can be used to modulate the texture and flexibility of the emulsions as desired. Ecocert, Cosmos and Natrue approved.
LANOL P (Glycol Palmitate) Texturing agent which improves the consistency of the formula and brings soft skin feel, without any soaping effect.
ORAMIX™ NS 10 (Decyl Glucoside) Very well-tolerated surfactant from vegetal origin, This gentle cleanser provides an abundant, stable foam. Cosmos, Ecocert and Natrue approved.
SIMULQUAT™ HC 305 (Acrylamidopropyltrimonium Chloride/Acrylates Copolymer and Isohexadecane and coceth-7) A pre-neutralized, cold processable, inverse emulsion, cationic liquid polymer with excellent stabilizing and thickening properties. It brings a silicone-like feel to formulations and creates sprayable to thick textures ideal for hair conditioners and treatments.
XYLISHINE™ (Xylitylglucoside and Anhydroxylitol and Xylitol) It moisturizes and repairs the hair: it helps maintain the deep hydration of the hair and protect the fiber. Tested in vivo on Caucasian or Brazilian hair, the natural sugars of vegetal and marine origin makes the hair glossy and soft.
SEPICAP™ MP (Sodium Cocoyl Amino Acidsand Potassium Dimethicone PEG-7 Panthenyl Phosphate) Thermo active multiprotector for stressed, sun-damaged, blow-dryied, pollution-exposed and/or chemical treated hair. Biovector of amino acids and panthenol, SEPICAP™ MP is a powerful nutritive cocktail for hair that helps to fight the harmful effects of oxidative stress. It simultaneously protects the integrity of the hair shaft and root as well as it smoothes scales.
FORMULATION ADVICES:
Pilot Scale -7kg - TRIMIX
Heat phase A at 80°C. In a Becker, melt phaseB at 80°C and stir with a spatula. Drop phase B onto phase A and start rotor-stator homogenization at 3000 rpm during 10 minutes. At 55°C add one by one the ingredients of phase C, progressive cooling down between each addition step. At 25°C, add phase D. At RT, add SEPICAP ™ MP and homogenize.
