Y2K is the shorthand term for "the year 2000".

On TikTok, this trend around beauty in the 2000s, appeals for over 30 billion searches and is mainly related to MakeUp.

Similar to various aspects of life, makeup trends often follow a cycle. SEPIMAX ZEN™, a stabilizing and texturizing powder polymer with suspensive properties combined with SOLAGUM™ AX, a versatile and stabilizing natural gum with suspensive properties as well, creating a gel that spreads on the skin when applied and allowing to suspend a high quantity of glitters. After application, this duo of polymers allows to achieve an invisible film for an holographic effect over time.

• DERMOPURIFYING EFFECT

CONTACTICEL™, an active ingredient from CELEBRITY™ biotechnology, corresponding to laboratory cell culture of macroalgae, which are rare and scarce in the marine environment. This concept allows us to avoid destroying algae and respecting ecosystems, to avoid polluting the oceans and to deliver consistent quality to our customers.

CONTACTICEL™ provides a protection of the skin in urban areas by decreasing excessive sebum production in polluted atmosphere and reducing ozonolized squalene.

FORMULATION ADVICES:

Laboratory scale - Ranery with defloculator

Introduce water into the main vessel and adjust the pH up to 5 to 5.50 with help of Citric acid sol., sprinkle polymer SEPIMAX ZEN™ under stirring. When the polymer is fully dispersed, introduce SOLAGUM™ AX in gel. Once the homogeneous gel is prepared, add preservative. For phase B, disperse the pigments in solvent. Then, add Phase B to Phase A. Stir well until it becomes a uniform texture. Then add Phase C to Phase A+B with proper agitation. Premix Phase D, add into Phase A+B+C. Mix well.
