Key ingredients
SEPIMAX ZEN™ a pre-neutralized powder polymeric thickener with a MAXIMUM resistance to electrolytes. Efficient on a wide range of pH from 3 to 8, it is able to formulate transparent aqueous gels. It provides also oil stabilizing effect and particle suspension property, creating a rich, velvet and elegant skin feel. FLUIDIPURE™ 8G a glycine and sugar biovector, helps to decrease scalp irritation as well as body & scalp odor. It reduces microbial proliferation of cosmetic formulations while preserving natural skin microbiota. OLIGOGELINE™ PF works as a second skin, forming a natural non occlusive shield to protect from pollution effects and retain moisture into the skin, reducing the TEWL. BIOPLASMA™ FA a Water soluble active extracted from Sahel micro-alga scenedesmus enriched in arginin which brings energy and skin detoxification. FORMULATION ADVICES:
Laboratory scale - 300 g - Homogenizer
Combine Phase A and heat to 50C to melt Oligogeline and then neutralize with phase B to pH ~5. While mixing the batch with high shear, add phase C and mix until Sepimax Zen is completely swelled. Combine phase D and pour it into phase ABC under high shear. Then homogenize the batch for 4 minutes at 4,000 rpm. Check and adjust to pH 5-5.5.
