Key Ingredients

SIMULGEL™ NS (Hydroxyethylacrylate/Sodium AcryloyldimethylTaurate Copolymer and Squalane and Polysorbate 60) Pre-neutralized liquid polymeric thickener on a wide range of pH (3 to 12). It provides also excellent oil stabilizing effect. It is used to develop formulas of any consistency, with a fresh and melting skin feel.

FLUIDIFEEL™ EASY (Lauryl Glucoside - Myristyl Glucoside - Polyglyceryl-6 Laurate), emulsifies and stabilizes the formula, it provides a “nude” skin feel. O/W glycolipidic emulsifier processable at room temperature.

Multifaceted ingredient EMOGREEN™ HP40 (C15-19 Alkane and Hydrogenated Polyfarnesene (Plant-based & Renewable) gives unctuosity, powdery finish and let a film at the surface of the skin. A non polar and inherently biodegradable, bio-sourced emollient. It’s a sustainable alternative to heavy silicones in formulation. This high purity versatile texturing ingredient brings comfort to the skin.

EPIFINE™ BB (Amylopectin) This biodegradable powder provides a soft and velvety skin finish while creating a pleasant playtime and matt effect. ​A natural texturizing powder, ethically sourced, coming from babassu nut exclusively sourced in Brazil. Readily biodegradable : >75% in 28 days* with * : OECD 301F method

DUB ININ* The ester with and incredibly silky skin feel. (Isononyl Isononanoate) Non sticky, non-greasy, it improves the spreadability of the formulas and gives a distinctive silky skin feel. It also has good hydration power resulting in improved cutaneous comfort. The skin is supple and non-shiny and the product absorbs quickly.

FORMULATION ADVICES:

Laboratory scale - 300 g

Combine phase B and mix slowly at 65-75rpm with U-shape mixing blade for 15 minutes. Combine phase C and mix until uniform. Increase mixing speed of phase B to 165-175rpm and very slowly add phase C into phase B. After the addition of phase C, continue to mix for 15 more minutes and then slowly add phase A. Once phase ABC is uniformed, transfer the batch to a deflocculator. Mix to create a vortex and add phase D. Once a uniformed emulsion is formed, add phase E and mix well.
