What’s on the menu today for your skin?

September 30, 2020

One of the main trends we identified in our Beauty Trilogy is Wellness Beauty (if you missed the article → it’s here (opens new window)). Consumers are increasingly health conscious, and take a more holistic approach to their own wellbeing: eating healthier, favoring natural products, products from traditional medicines,... to feel and look better on the inside and outside!

According to theBenchmarkingCompany 2019 study, Multi-vitamins and shakes/smoothies were the most bought wellness products in 2019 vs 2018 (respecteviley 75% and 54% consumers bought them[1]), and the main reason for it was for “healthy skin in general”.

Fruits and vegetables are considered “good food” because they are rich in vitamins, minerals, antioxidants,... and they provide nutritional and health benefits when eaten. But did you know they also make powerful ingredients for skin and hair care, without even having to eat them?!
